What is in the villa: equipment and practical tips
Packing is easier when you know what is waiting for you. This is what you will find at Villa Horizonte, room by room, and a few practical tips for your stay.
Garden and pool
The private, fenced garden surrounds a heated pool of 6 × 3 m that you can use all year. There are sun loungers, garden furniture and a barbecue, and the living room opens straight onto the terrace by the pool.
Rooftop terrace
The roof is a terrace of about 100 m² with an outdoor dining table, sofas, loungers, a pergola and a barbecue, with views of the coast and the mountains. It is the best place in the house for breakfast in winter and for dinner at sunset in summer. It is reached by stairs.
Kitchen and living room
The open-plan kitchen has an oven, an induction hob, a dishwasher and a coffee machine, so cooking for eight is easy. The living room has a sofa bed, and there are two TVs in the house and free Wi-Fi throughout.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Two bedrooms have double beds and the children's room has two bunk beds; with the sofa bed, the villa sleeps up to eight. There are two bathrooms. The ground floor is step-free, and the bathrooms are designed to be accessible for older guests and people with reduced mobility.
Comfort and safety
The whole house has ducted air conditioning with a heating function, so it is cool in August and warm on January evenings. There is an alarm system and a safe, and private parking for two cars.
What to pack
Sun cream and a hat even in winter, swimwear all year thanks to the heated pool, light layers for cooler evenings, and comfortable shoes for the old towns and mountain paths. Spain uses European two-pin plugs, so guests from the UK will need an adapter. If you are not sure whether something is provided, just ask us before you travel.
Arrival and departure
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out until 10:00. The villa is about 35 minutes by car from Alicante-Elche airport; we recommend renting a car at the airport, as shops, beaches and restaurants are a short drive away.
